How to Write a Hub in Ten Minutes
68I was browsing hubs yesterday, and came across one by Kangaroo Jack that asked whether it was possible to write a hub in ten minutes. I think it is very possible, so I am setting to do just that. The trick is to stop when the timer buzzes and call the hub done.
The timer is set, so if this hub ends abruptly, you will understand why.
Why The Ten Minute Hub
Why am I interested in writing a hub in ten minutes?
Well, I am participating in the 100 Hubs in 30 days challenge. I have about 30 hubs to go and only three days to do it, so I need to find a faster way to write hubs.
I was thinking about not finishing at all, and being satisfied with the progress I have made, but then I wondered what I would do if I was still working in the corporation. My boss would tell me that if I had a deadline, then I would have to meet it. He may give me some slack about how to meet the deadline, but my reputation and the firm's reputation would be on the line. Even if the customer was willing to extend it, he would make me try to find a way to make it work.
So, in this and future hubs, I am planning on providing quality content, as I promised. However, I am going to give myself slack about links and photos to go with the hubs. It really is the only way that I am going to manage to write almost thirty hubs in three days.
I hope you will forgive me for the allowance I have given myself. I promise to go back and add the links and photos after the thirty days are up.
Another allowance I am giving myself is to not count what hub number I am on. I find this take up a great deal of my time. Just know that I am shooting for 100 hubs.
Thank you for your time to read this hub and for your allowance. My ten minutes aren't up yet and I figure I might as well keep on typing until it is. I really can get a lot written in ten minutes, although I have to admit that I planned out this hub while I was going for a walk, when I had an idea to let you know my plans. Otherwise, it might have been difficult to think of what to write about and only have ten minutes to do that.
Enjoy your week, and I hope that you will enjoy coming back to read my hubs when they are all prettied up with pictures and dividers and such. I have been reading MissOlive's tips about how to bling your hubs, and I am hoping to get to do that after Wednesday, when my thirty days is up.

Good luck with your challenge! Out of interest, what has your traffic increase been like after writing so many hubs so quickly? I would be interested to know!
Good luck!
Good luck on your 100 hubs in 30 days! I may try something like that for a New Years resolution, but too hectic for me this month. To write a Hub in 10 minutes, I might could do a short poem or a joke. Maybe.
I wish I could do the 100 hubs in 30 days challenge... Best of luck!
That would be very interesting! I look forward to your 100th hub! Good luck!
I admore you for doing the 100 in 30 days challenge. I could never do it. I have a bunch of hubs planned where I actually have files of half written articles. Every once in a while I get some creative ideas to add something more to one of another. Eventually I complete one and then publish it. That method is not conducive to writing 100 Hubs in 30 days. I guess we all have a different way of handling it. What works for you is all that counts.
Great work. I was astonished to see your articles, both in quality and quantity in such a small time. How to join 100 hubs in 30 days challenge? Is there a link?
Great hub!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna get myself a stopwatch ;)
My goal right now is to write a hub in under 60min.
